Winter Party!

Our annual Winter Party is a celebration of the our chilly, Minnesota weather.  This tradition began as a part of Teacher Laura's classroom and was entrusted to me to continue on as part of the nature curriculum this year.  I enlisted the help of some capable friends to help me get this party started.

You might find yourself asking, "What goes into planning a winter party?"
Well, first you need to scout out a location...

And obtain approval from the neighbors.

You need decorations.

 Ornaments are nice.

Snow angels will work in a pinch.

And sticks.  Lots of sticks.

Firewood collection is next, and a good place to have a bonfire.

Seating is a must.  Snowball chairs work great!

Then, just add great friends, hot chocolate and warm apple cider,
and some great music!

Thanks for a great winter party!
